I booked the chalet for three days, drove 9 hours from Toronto and when I got to the spa to get the keys the spa was closed (closed an hour before closing time). The area does not have cell reception for 5-6km, so had to ask the neighbor to call the contact numbers. The owner of the chalet told us over the phone that he had double booked the place, and can’t do anything. He then hung up the phone (later told us the battery died). This left us stranded in the middle of nowhere. After more than an hour, after we had booked the place the spa called back admitted the mistake and offered us the place which wasn’t clean as the guests that were staying were asked to leave. We however could not go as we had by then booked another place that did not offer a cancellation. The owner did give us 300 in addition to the refund and gave us spa day passes (that we did not use). However because of the mistake they made our trip to Quebec (for a family with infants and seniors) was ruined.

We loved it! We been here in the middle of the week...so quite and not crowded. I would come back, if I will be around again. I missed only english signs and a stopwatch in the sauna...they told me that someone passed out, because she tried to make the 15 minutes...For us really wired distribution... Every Sauna have it...

Beauty view, able to cold dip in the lake. Could use different temp hot tubs. Perfect setting for a spa. Everything you need in a spa and was not busy on a Sunday.
