I really, really hope they are able to make it through the pandemic. A Montreal institution, the best eastern European food/drinks and the perfect atmosphere.

We really liked the food. We were looking for hardy food, some soup to warm us up and feed us full. And this restaurant serve the brunch till 3pm. So we ordered the day of soup - mushroom soup. It is unexpectedly good. We thought it would be like can soup, creamy mushroom soup. But it isn't. It is like a veggie soup, super flavourful. Second highly recommend thing is potatoes cake!!!! Overall it's perfect. Service is good.

love the atmosphere, it's a very nice intimate restaurant that serves delicious food! it's a bonus when you catch live music playing, we were pleasantly surprised! Definitely want to go back once covid business is over.

This is genuinely one of the only restaurants I would take the time to write a review for. I have come here for every birthday (both my wife's and I's) and my anniversary for the last 4-5 years. Wonderful ambiance (particularly in the evening) and fantastic staff. If you make a reservation, act politely and with respect, they will go above and beyond to make sure your experience is great. I'm Jewish and know my way around a latke and pierogi, and Stash regularly delivers all their Polish fare with high quality and great taste. I have always left full, happy, and delighted by my experience. Despite some of the other comments I find the price extremely reasonable - you just need to understand how to order from a menu! Can't wait to return post-CoVID! My personal "top experience" menu at Stash is as follows; a) Zurek b) 6 mixed Pierogi b) Taster Menu / Kielbasa Table d'Hote c) Peach Cobbler dessert Best drinks include their Mojitowski, Szarlotka. Big shout-out to their amazing Caesars. If you like Polish vodka (if you don't, I pity you) this is absolutely the place to enjoy it!

We ate at Stash last night and it was fantastic. There were 6 of us and we did not have a reservation but they were able to squeeze us in at the Bar. I am so glade they did. I ordered the sampler plate and the pickle soup and was not disappointed at all. The food was great the live piano player was very fun but what made the experience was our bartender/server. She explained the different plates and was super friendly.

The ambience is the best aspect of the restaurent! I liked the decor and the lighting. The food is typical polish. We had the fried crepes filled with meet and mushrooms. It was really good but a little to heavy. Over a great experience!

Very cozy and relaxed. Amazing place for a date, a double date, or just a cool lunch! The service was normal, and the food took a bit of time to come out, so not the best place for a rush. But still very good. The food was honestly very good. And the portion sizes reasonable. Prices were on the lower end for the area, which makes this an excellent place for repeated visits. Definitely try it out.
