We are very impressed with the work Monty did for us! He crafted a whole set of fireplace tools that are unlike any others! He is friendly, knowledgeable and very crafty ! I highly recommend contacting him!

I took the weekend blacksmith training. Mont and Houkje were really flexible when an emergency interrupted the weekend, but we got through all the material in great detail. Mont was great at answering all of my never-ending questions, and Houkje was super nice. I got to take home everything I made, with a certificate to boot! Highly recommend if you're wanting to blacksmith and have never done it. You'll learn more in a weekend from Mont than you would in a year on your own!
Had a great weekend, incredibly informative few days. Learned a ton! I had such a great time, very glad I went. I seriously look forward to building some skills in the near future. Been busy reading even more since the course. Mont and Houkje were incredibly easy going and down to earth. Mont is a fantastic teacher and pleasure to be around. If you are truly a beginner I’m sorry for your hands the blisters will come fast and with fury. Enjoy your time, I did!
Great course incredibly informative! We went over many different topic from fire control to tempering to forge welding all in a weekend!
