I usually don’t like doing reviews for a place that’s not a food spot but I had to share my thoughts on the level of customer service I received by this precious metals dealer in the east end. I was looking to sell off some old jewellery that has been in the family for decades but I was very hesitant to let it go as I did not want loose a lot money on it. I ended up taking it to Star Gold Refining (I did not know they even did this), the owner explained the whole process of what they do and how they can use my old gold to make whatever I want or use it towards a purchase of ounce bars. The owner was very knowledgeable and treated me with respect and did not force me at all to sell anything. He explained what he can do for me while keeping the value still high and ended up getting a few custom pieces done for my family as well as purchase a gold bar so that I wouldn’t have to go through the trouble of having to refine the gold again. He was kind enough to even throw in a 1 ounce silver coin. The gold bar as well as the silver coin both came with paper work so it can be sold anytime with no issues. He was very generous in offering a service like this so that I wouldn’t be stuck in this position later on down the road. If you’re ever looking to refine, purchase gold as well as loan money on some gold, look no further. I would highly recommend you use Star Gold Refining for all your precious metals.
Well I have to say that Raj is a kind man, you can tell within the first 30 seconds when speaking with him. I had purchased over the past 5 years lots and lots of gold, silver in ingots and coins. It was worth going to Raj because... 1. I got comparibly the same rate as with any major banking institution. 2. The bank will only buy back what they sold you, meaning if you purchased gold from one banking institution the other wouldn't buy it back even with the certificate of authenticity. 3. You would have to wait 3 business days for the bank to credit your account for gold or silver verification. 5. Raj was very obliging without pressure or intimidation, gold is gold silver is silver and whatever the spot price is at the moment is what it is. So you know you're not getting cheated. 6. Guess what ? I would've got the same amount from the banks and would've tormented myself driving to 3 banking institutions, waited in lines then had to wait 3 days for the money to be credited to my accounts. In 30 minutes the deal was agreed and completed seamlessly thanks again for making it right.
Out of anywhere in southwestern Ontario, Raj and his family are hands down the most trustworthy, fair and professional precious metals and gold refinery specialists. I gold mine for a living and they provided a refreshing experience and were priced above ALL other outfits in the province. Couldn't say enough good about the business.

Best place to sell gold! Great prices, honers his quotes, fast and convenient transaction. Had the best price out of 15 places I called, and I got cash in my hand faster than anywhere else I’ve sold gold before.
Just like all the previous reviewers , i have only positive experience with Stargold. They’re very honest and transparent with how much they pay. They don’t nickel and dime their customers like some other cash for gold vendors i’ve been to As we all know some business would purposely lower the offer ... preparing for any kind of negotiation. If you’re not familiar with the market , you would certainly end up underpaid. And even if you know the market value, it’s kinda waste of time! Last but not least ... they DO offer the BEST price in town ( 5- 10% more from my experience) . will certainly come back ! Thanks again for the fast and friendly service!
I have had came to this place few months back couldn’t use my Google account to post a review finally it’s working and I have to say I went all around Markham and Scarborough trying to sell my gold chain and the owner here gave me the best possible price out of all other places he’s very knowledgeable and honest I highly recommend this place !
