Really helpful... until they take your money. Then they're just another paint store. Consistency is what transforms average into excellence. Namaste.

We ordered new blinds for our master bedroom and within 48 hrs we had to change the color.. no cooperation with the St Thomas Store...so we contacted Hunter Douglas in Colorado and are currently awaiting an answer from them, on a solution...if interested, the cost was 1900.00 with 900.00 in advance. currently there has not been any answer from either party...

Disappointed, disgusted, angry...those are the feelings I’m having right now. We bought our deck stain from this store and initially they seemed really helpful. They assisted us in the steps we needed to take and told us how we should prep the deck. They pointed out when we should ideally do it weather wise. We followed all their directions and the stain looked amazing! For a season. Then winter came and went...and this spring we noticed the stain had been flaking off. We reached out to Benjamin Moore to see what was up and after repeated bad customer service emails we received an email stating what we did wrong. We didn’t sand the entire deck first! That’s right, apparently it’s crucial to sand every wood surface before applying the stain. Even brand new wood. PLUS it needs to be at a 12% moisture level using a moisture reader (cause everyone has a moisture reader). When we explained that the store didn’t tell us any of these steps they told us sanding a deck is standard procedure. It’s not by the way. I’ve been a landscaper for 22 years and I’ve only ever heard of sanding a deck of you’re trying to remove stain or paint. Regardless I’m just disgusted. Don’t waste your time here. Go to Home Hardware on Wellington.
