Had an appointment as soon as we put down my Chihuahua she barked and Growled like every dog does do to the fact that she was protecting my daughter like always . We got told to leaveYes she has all her shots she is not infected with anything like the lady told us...Also my puppy NEVER BIT or BIT anyone
Horrible experience...do not take your pets here to be groomed. I just finished a telephone conversation with the owner, providing her the opportunity to refund me for the horrible grooming my 2 pound teacup poodle experienced and was told to find another groomer and was hung up on. Firstly the smell of stale cigarette smoke along with animal stench when you walk through the door should have been my first clue...but I thought, be optimistic and give this establishment a chance. I picked up my girl about an hour later and was told she had a small cut on her leg. I was charged 68.25, took my little girl and went home. I took her out of her kennel and upon further inspection found a horrible job. I had to spend an hour to finish her grooming, bathed her and inspected her wound. It was not ‘minor’ as explained to me. She still had matts in her fur, there where long hairs on her muzzle curled into her mouth. Around her ears and sides of her face hadn’t been cut. Her legs and feet were not groomed, I had to cut dried mud out of the fur between the pads of her feet. Some may know, but I owned a pet shop in this community for over 20 years. I would have not allowed any customer to walk away without compensation and an apology if they felt unsatisfied. We were a mom and pop operation as well and our cages all had exterior filtration systems and prided ourselves in not having the pet smells permeate the rest of our store...this IS possible. Also being a fellow business person, I gave this owner the opportunity to rectify my concerns and keep a customer...sadly I was not valued.
Being fully aware of how hard it is to have a mom n pop store in a small town these days, I would like to say thank you to the owners of Pawz N Klawz pet store. I have seen these people help customers during closed hours so their pets do not go without, I have seen the owner take in abandoned animals that no one else has wanted. I have personally had the staff help me get specific information regarding my own pets and the results have always been positive. This store is stocked and clean, the staff are amazing and I always get a warm fuzzy feeling when I enter.
I brought me dog in for a groom, and he came out handsome. The groomer was amazing (Rhonda) my dog absolutely loves her, and loves going back to her. The front staff was friendly and equipped with the necessary items for my pooch!
