Got to see some whales, and even puffins! Very nice staff. They helped me out when I fell seasick. Grab some Gravol just in case, along with some cash, they don't have a credit card terminal for drinks. They serve alcohol.

I highly recommend a boat tour in Newfoundland but I don't particularly recommend this one. If it's your only option then go for it scenery is amazing and seeing icebergs from the water is great. But this particular tour had very little information from the staff and they did not seem to be personally knowledgeable about the area instead reading off of a script. The staff seemed very new to the job and didn't seem great at boat operations or providing a good tour experience. However they did get the boat to the places that are good to see. The Captain spent a lot of time driving the boat parallel to the swells on the ocean when I went out which resulted in the boat rolling a lot and a lot of people ended up getting seasick. Despite this negative review I do recommend you a boat or Newfoundland and even do this one if it's your only option but personally I had a much better experience with the boat toar that left from the bay bulls and witless Bay Area where I have none of the above mentioned complaints. I only hope that the an experience of the staff for Iceberg Quest is because it was early in the season maybe after a few months they will be better.

Great tour of the Icebergs around St. Johns Harbour and we also saw Cape Spear. The staff works hard to make the trip fun. I was there when it was raining cats and dogs but we still got great pictures of the icebergs. Highly recommend it.

Got some amazing views and pictures. The staff were welcoming and took the chance to answer questions. Highly recommended. Dress appropriately

Really boring. My main issue with this tour is how the crew member giving the tour seemed highly uninterested in his speech. The microphone/ speaker was way too soft. 70 tax is not worth it for such monotone commentary. Views were not that amazing either.

pretty ok. easy to get tickets when arriving at the right time and the boat is pretty spacious. theres street parking and private lots all over the area where the boat comes out so driving to the attraction is not a huge issue, however the island is pretty small so driving does not make much sense if you are downtown anyways. we walked here from our hotel and got the tickets pretty nice and easy. they have military discounts so make sure to ask for it. as the people come on board everyone tried to get seats outside, I must say it was pretty cold outside and the trip is pretty lengthy so by the time you reach the high point of the attraction people have already moved around so do not worry about where to sit when you coming in the boat, things will chance I can guarantee. there is a lot of history being told here so make sure to pay attention, it is a pretty interesting trip. there is no guarantee you will actually see the whales, we saw some penguins the puffy ones and that was super cool, but no whales. we got to find out a lot of interesting facts about the area on the trip and they also offer an SCREECHING ceremony during the trip, only you will not kiss the cod. but it was cool to do it on the boat none the less. if you stay inside the cabin I must say for me it did not work, I got a lot more nauseous there than outside on the top deck, so if you get a little nauseous try going up it is a lot better in my opinion. this is overall in my opinion something you should do while here for the experience for sure, however you may be let down for not seeing the wildlife you are looking for during the trip so do not have your hopes super high so you do not get very disappointed. oh make sure to bring some very warm clothes you may need it.

Wow... fun friendly staff. Clean well maintained boat. Great beer! The Capt did a great job in the rough sea. 20,000 year old iceberg was awe inspiring. This was the highlight of our trip to your Beautiful island. Thanks Iceberg Quest! !

Great tour. Very knowledgeable staff. Saw icebergs up close, lovely. No puffins or whales but wasn't the season for them. Be prepared to be extremely seasick if you have a weak stomach. Bring your own vomit bags as they tend to run out, and the bathrooms can get a bit icky. But overall a very memorable experience!
