Really phenomenal. Sorry Ethiopian House in Toronto, you’ll always be my first love, but Ethiopian Cuisine Plus is spectacular. Excellent flavourings, deeply aromatic and enjoyable. This is a solid “sit down and fill your belly” combo, no matter which variety you choose.

My 1st trip to Ethiopian Cuisine, really interesting food to try. We ordered the: 1-Injera Veggie Combo- Plus Lamb (3/5). Food was great, the Injera (pancake like material) was a bit lemony for me and I couldnt eat the lamb (heavy taste for me). 2-Rice Lamb lentil, my friend enjoyed her meal and finished her plate. (4/5) They mixed up our food sizes which happens, she ordered Large and I order medium size. They said its their fault and they will bill me for medium after I paid and left I noticed he billed me for large (y? Just be straight forward)!
Very good food and friendly service. Food was similar to indian food but with a different flavour profile that made it a whole new experience. The meal came with number of different "curries" and all were delicious. I think we will be regulars here.
My first time trying Ethiopian food and it was great! We had injera and rice veggie platters, and both tasted amazing - flavours were rich and food just tasted wholesome! The medium was a good size for 1 person. The sambusas are also a must-try. Everything we had was vegetarian and it was one of the better vegetarian meals in St. John’s. Staff were friendly too! We’ll be back for sure.
Our 2nd visit, tried the Tibbs stew and Veggie combo with lamb. Confirmed our suspicions that the 1st visit of excellent food was not a fluke. A modest menue that we're sure anyone can find something that in our opinion will not disappoint. If you're looking for ethnic food, in particular Ethiopian then we strongly recommend giving this place a chance to impress you.
Good food. New experience worth trying out.
First time trying Ethiopian food and they did not disappoint. Had the injera platter and it was filling, comforting and warming after a long hike. So much flavour depth in the food. Staff was friendly and there is Ethiopian coffee ceremony every friday or call 15 min in advance. Vegetarian options also. Can't wait to try more items on the menu next time.
Waited almost 20 years for an Ethiopian restaurant in St. John's. It was worth the wait. The Injera Lamb and Veggie platter was absolutely perfect, and the pricing is astonishingly low for both the quality and quantity of food I received. I cannot recommend this place enough.
