Staff is kind. Stuff is cool. Store is clean. I go here with my mom a few times a year. Sometimes I have too much stuff and I donate the most useful of it to them, so that I have more space. Pretty much what you expect from a well maintained thrift store of its sort. Complete with that messy toy section that thrift stores are born with.

If you’ve got time to look for clothing then the prices are fantastic. Keep in mind that Value Village is a for profit business so if you think your donating to a charity you are mistaken. If you want to donate to a charity the try Goodwill. That being said this location in St Albert is one of the better Value Villages and the largest. It’s clean and well lit. The staff is friendly and helpful. My wife and son found good deals on clothing and so did I. You will look through hundreds of clothing items and find one or two items but it is worth it. Besides clothing there are other used household items from dishes to small appliances and books and toys and piles of other knick knacks. Be prepared to spend an hour or two looking.

The prices at this location are ridiculous. If you have a no exchange policy on most of your stuff, then either make sure your products work or charge a fair price! Can easily find local stuff and have the honesty of another verifying what you are going to get for cheaper. Fix those prices and get in line with the other value villages and stop trying to gouge!

I witnessed a lady named Angie bad mouth a customer to a cashier once they left. Didn't think too much of it other than how inappropriate it was. Then months later now she is doing the same thing. Maybe she thinks nobody knows what she's saying but people can hear it and it's a bad atmosphere not impressed at this point.
