Like everyone during the Pandemic we are all trying to adapt to a new norm however, this particular place since March has completely discriminated against me for not wearing a mask. I even went out of my way to go to this place to get my mail on a weekly basis during low peak periods as customers had concerns about me not wearing a mask. Despite the notice on their door that a mask is mandatory with a notice saying unless you can’t for medical reason or under the OHRA entry is still permitted. Nothing has changed since March in this regard and my disability remains permanent and it is a disability I never asked for and it is something unfortunately, I must deal with for the rest of my life. Now I must have a scheduled day so someone can bring my mail outside the door to avoid me coming in the store. Not only am I discriminated against but now told I cannot go in the store. I would avoid this store if you cannot wear a mask and need to stop in for something as they will simply stare at you and make you feel uncomfortable and make it seem the disability was a choice and that you should leave. Complete lack of respect for members with a medical or disability. Extremely disappointing. Cannot wait to go get my mail and stand in the cold while they get it for me next week.
