As a local in Squamish I quite enjoy thrifting at pearls. More importantly I liked contributing to the Women's Center which is where all of pearls profits go. Recently pearls has decided to enact tyranny laws over individuals wishing to shop at their thrift store. A new enforcement of lining up outside, mandatory hand sanitizing, and mandatory masking are medical procedures that only a medical professional should be advising on. Yet, pearls has taken it upon themselves to monitor the community health and impose laws to enter their store that have little to no scientific basis. All of the top medical and scientific professionals in the world are advocating for no masks, no sanitizing ... what will be next, mandatory temperature taking? Mandatory proof of vaccination? When I informed pearls that I have an exemption for mask wearing, they insisted on seeing a note from my doctor. I have to wonder, as a second hand store that is supposed to be associated with the Women's Center, with the health and well-being of women, where does the staff get off on making these kinds of policies with no medical background themselves? I won't be shopping here and will have to find another way to support the women's center. Pearls, go read a scientific report on mask wearing and stop shaming my body for what it has or doesn't have on it.

My favourite place to shop in Squamish. Always find something I need and I love knowing that my dollars are going towards a great cause! Great staff and great shopping music.

I got a blazer, shirts, tie and pants for 36 dollars! Was my first time in the store and I am pleased with my experience. Also with your receipt you may take back clothes that don't fit or you aren't satisfied with. The people there are nice funny and happy to have you around and of coarse, to help you. Happy shopping!
