Took my son to get his first skates here, staff was knowledgeable and helped my son understand the whole process. He had his skates custom fitted and said they are the most comfortable ones he has ever worn.

Support your local sporting goods store. Very friendly and helpful staff. They carry hockey, lacrosse and baseball game equipment. And offer skate sharpening as well.

moved out to abby back in 2020 and figured i'd give sportzone a try. great selection of sticks, and other good product knowledge. however, i don't recommend getting your skates sharpened here. went about 3 times with my skates. first time was good, but the last 2 times sucked. won't be coming back again regarding blades. they hire people who they probably train for about an hour and throw them behind the machine. not their fault, but you should train your employees better before you let them handle customer belongings. i realize my skates are pretty old and beat up but they sure didn't look like this when i took them in the 2nd and 3rd time. you guys should really stop patting yourself on the back when it comes to skate sharpening.
