I was extremely disappointed in the staff who refused to help me today. I live out of town, I was in for a medical appointment when my footwear was stolen. I showed up wearing hospital slippers 45 minutes before store opened. I asked if an exception could be made in my case. I was immediately refused. The Quarks store right across from Sportchek also did not open for 45 minutes but opened so I could get shoes. Guess where I will be spending my money for future shoes for my family!

The service was fine, the salesman was patient with me for trying on a multitude of runners to get the perfect pair. Since it's summer tho I did not wear socks with my sandals. For paying between 70 to way over 100 worth of footwear they have a little bin of used socks to try with the shoes. Salesman didn't even think they've been washed. Where's the nylon pairs you used to have just in case? Not really hygiene friendly!

We (myself and my partner) were there end of September / early October shopping for running shoes and Brayden took such great care of us that we wanted to be sure and leave a review to honour how valuable his devoted nature is to his work. He was very knowledgeable about all the options and the technological benefits of some shoes versus others and really helped steer us in a direction that was perfect for our needs. And he had the kindest and most patient approach that made us feel welcomed. When I started to feel worried that I was trying on too many shoes, he offered even more options to consider. It was clear he wanted to make sure that I ended up with a purchase I could feel confident about and happy with. We took some time getting around to this review as we were moving across the country at the time, but he stood out as a star to us and we were very grateful for his skillful, kind guidance. Take good care of him Sportchek team!

Literally depends on who you talk to if you are allowed to return an online purchase or not. Returned some items from an online purchase about a week ago. Decided against the last item from that same order but was told today that I can't return it. Different person, different rules.

I went in last night to get some runners for work. All the staff were at the front desk chatting with each other. I did not get a hello, hi, nothing. I proceeded to the women's shoes and made several choices to have fitted to my size. I was in there for at least a half an hour. Not one staff member came to assist me. There were no other customers in the store. Apparently chatting with coworkers is more important than customer service. On a previous visit to the store, I actually called the front desk to break up their chit-chat to get someone to help me. I will NEVER be back. And yes I will tell everyone who is remotely thinking about going there not to.
