For a couple of years we've been taking our youngest (5yr old) to other places. We eventually decided to try this place and on the 2nd day with Lukas (The Instructor), she was not afraid of the water and was already floating on her own and dunking her full head in... 3 Months now and she's already doing laps with little to no assistance. The only disappointment is all the money I could have saved if I had met Lukas 2 years ago :)

Love this facility!! Lukas is a skilled instructor. He has a natural ability to teach kids of all ages and levels; he is calm, patient and good humoured and the children respond well to his teaching style. We have tried semi private lessons and group lessons for our 4/5-year-old and both classes have worked very well. The welcoming family atmosphere and a more contained space feel less hectic than a busy leisure centre setting, and is much easier for parents and family members to come watch the lesson. Great in every aspect.
I highly recommend Splashy's for swimming lessons. All 3 of my boys have learned to swim here. I like the small class sizes which help to ensure that your child gets the attention he/she needs. Lukas is very patient and great with the kids. This place has a cozy small town atmosphere that makes you feel like family.
I only have good things to say about Splashy’s swim and fitness. I moved to Bradford a year ago and wanted to get my 2 girls aged, 5 and 7, into swimming lessons. They had completed a couple sessions at a community centre but struggled with the cold water and larger class sizes. I did not see much progress in their skills either, although it was early stages. I found Splashy’s website online and contacted them. They responded right away and I had them enrolled in summer swimming classes in 2016 and have not left since. Lukas, their swim instructor, is amazing. He is so calm and patient. He takes the time to get to know his students and teach them according to their abilities and needs. The girls love him and really enjoy swimming. The pool is warm and the atmosphere is so inviting. But most of all, I see improvement in my girls’ swimming ability after each and every lesson! This is a family owned business and the customer service and care you receive makes you feel like you are part of the family. I highly recommend Splashy’s to everyone looking for a wonderful swimming experience for their children. Thank you Lukas, for all you do and for making my girls confidence boost as they learn to swim.
My son was enrolled at Splashy's in the fall. He really enjoyed the lessons and the friendly atmosphere from Lukas and the other students. From a parent's perspective, the owner/instructor was extremely thorough and interested in teaching. He focused on each student and provided corrections and feedback. The kids were always moving and my son was exhausted (in a good way!) after each lesson. I will be returning in the spring with lessons for both of my kids. I highly recommend Splashy's.
