Review Way back 2018, I was checking on the internet for the best speech therapy services for my son who has a cochlear implant due to bilateral profound hearing loss. I came across Maple Leaf website and read everything - content, reviews etc. Impa is very much knowledgeable, compassionate and accommodating especially with our concerns. She was so kind to know and assess what’s the best program for my son. She has also given us the best therapist for him, Sonja. I can still remember how my son started without any words to say, he was very shy and felt indifferent. Now, Sonja is his best friend. They get along so well that he’s very comfortable to say or express anything - words, phrases, comments, basic sentences. She has a very friendly approach and focuses on his interest (games ) while incorporating the lessons or goal for the day. He’s always looking forward for their session and to simply see her. My son has certainly improved a lot. I can attest how his program helped him to communicate verbally and advocate for himself. We can’t wait for the day when we will both achieve our goals for my son. And, I can still see Sonja beside him . Thank you so much Maple Leaf, we are very grateful. You have given so much care and hope for parents like us. All the best!

We would highly recommend Maple Leaf. Impa was extremely knowledgeable and Emily was so good at working with our son to not only getting him speaking but help him catch up to his age group. They were very easy and flexible to work with. Without their help and guidance I don’t know if our son would be anywhere close to the level of speaking he is at now.

Working with Maple Leaf Speech Services as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant is a positive experience. It affords many opportunities to work with parents, family members and all those who want to be involved with the client’s treatment in the convenience of their home with both a Speech and Language Pathologist and a Speech and Language Pathology Assistant. The flexible hours give clients who are working or working parents many opportunities to book sessions that fit around their personal schedules. Being open 7 days a week from 7am to 9pm means it is easy to phone and speak with a staff member at their convenience. This makes for a positive working relationship that suits everyone involved and is most successful for the client.
