I can't say enough about how amazing Uta and her team are. Exactly who I needed. Very calm, collected, encouraging and told me what I needed to hear when I needed to hear it. Her experience really showed in every aspect of her time with me. Devi was also encouraging and positive and I know she will be an amazing midwife.

I highly recommend Sooke Midwifery! These ladies are amazing, so kind and caring. Midwives go above and beyond with the whole experience, I felt 100% comfortable the whole time. I had Kaitlyn for my pregnancy and birth. I also had a student midwife shadowing for the end of my pregnancy and at the birth; I was hesitant at first of a student because it was my first baby but if your able to have a student join in I recommend it, your able to have more hands on in the labour and delivery. The care after baby is fantastic, your able to stay at home for the first few weeks and they come check on you while your safe and cozy at home. I Love seeing the ladies around town and showing them how much my LO has grown. They made the whole experience so amazing I'd have a dozen more

I cannot say enough good about the wonderful women at Sooke Midwifery! I actually started prenatal care with a doctor in Victoria and followed my instinct and switched to midwifery care in Sooke! This may have been one of the best decisions I've ever made as I got to see my midwife, Kaitlyn, consistently rather than a different doctor every visit which had been causing a lot of anxiety for this first-time mom. My parents were uncertain about midwifery care, but my mom (a nurse) was blown away by how amazing Kaitlyn was in labour and in the amazing postnatal care I received at home afterwards. It's also been so lovely connecting with so many other moms who've had a similar, wonderful experience with Kaitlyn, Uta, and their students. There's no question in my mind of where I will go for baby #2. Thank you all soooo much for the huge role you played in making my first pregnancy the most positive it could be!!!
