I guess I lucked out when I did. I had all my solar power needs met with top notch fast service. Of course I still had to pick up my orders. Never had any issues with service at the counter and getting things from the shelf or their warehouse inventory. It's too bad they had to shut down business during this pandemic. I only knew 2 guys running the place. You can't keep rent paid and lights on for free in a grid tied building. Let's hope they can still make some recovery to get their sales going again

They could not deliver the order on time. After months of waiting I tried to cancel the order. That was in July and I have not seen any refund (over 3500!) and nobody is returning my many phone calls and emails. Avoid this business...Shady at best...I can only assume they are complete crooks or going bankrupt!

Ty was so helpful!!! He gave great directions when we phoned trying to find their new location, opened the door for us after we parked, and gave EXCELLENT help and advice even though we only came in to get some wire and connectors. Will be back! Thank you!

Very angry with the service we received. 1. We were lied to about being able to install a ground rack for our solar panels ourselves. Before purchasing over the phone, and then again in person when we picked it up, we asked if two people with ladders and basic tools could install it and were told yes. When we went to set it up with their instructions, we discovered such was not the case. We asked about it and were told “We usually just assemble the top part of it on the ground and lift it up with a genie.” Their instructions also were very poorly written, did not mention a genie lift or scaffolding would be needed, and they did not give us the lockwashers required. 2. They missed things on the order that they didn't own up to, such as length of grounding wire required. When determining our needs they asked us for the distance from the combiner box to the house – we estimated 70’ - and they were supposed to estimate what we needed to connect to the panels, approximately 20'. The grounding wire showed up at 70’, and there was none to go from the combiner box to the panels. When asked about it, they said “we figured you could take it from the 70 feet”. Another item we had to spend extra time and money to go to town and get. 3. We ordered extra panels and rails, offering to make a down payment to reserve them. We were told this wasn’t needed and they were marked as ours. When the panels arrived at their store we paid in full so they could ship, and then found out Management had decided to use our panels to fill someone else’s order. 4. Our calls and messages often went unanswered.

We had a large roof top system installed by the most quiet, kind and competent gentlemen and we are delighted with the whole process! Richard walked us through everything beforehand and was up-front, obviously knowledgeable, and trustworthy. On top of that, the final cost came in as originally quoted!! It works super and produces slightly more than we consume! Call SolarWholesaler!

TL;DR - They will take your money and run, petty thieves. Poor business Practices. Edit: By days end of posting this review I had my money back VIA EFT.( I am still leaving it up as a warning to others) Over a period of 12 months and only 2 business transactions did 22 000 of business with this company (complete off grid no tie in system). DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. They don't deserve the 1 star rating I gave. The sales people up front will say what ever it takes to make a sale (costing us in the end) and wont face up to their mistakes. That was the first time dealing with this company. The second deal our sales guy quit the company during this ordeal and the company has had a name change. Shipping mistakes that where not mine (but I discovered and corrected for both the shipping company and Solar Store Canada AKA Solar Wholesaler) This cost me 6 hrs drive time and 500 out of my pocket. And even though our sales rep (before he quit) confirmed the refund and even the president Chris Williamson acknowledged that we are owed this refund he has not sent it. Now 3 weeks late and for 2 of those weeks now both the president and CEO have ignored both my and my wife's calls and messages. The only person who actually will acknowledge our existence is a Back of House worker (not his job at all to deal with customers) literally the only worker who has the decency to return our calls and emails and actual treat us like human beings, not the front of house staff I.E. sales reps, CEO, president but a BOH staff. This company has the poorest business practices I have ever seen. Three words sums them up: juvenile, cowardly and petty. And look at the other reviews before making your own decision. Many suspicious 5/5 star reviews with no comments or people just looking at the store with out purchasing anything. I am up front with what I spent and dealings with them.
