Cute little gift shop that has a variety of fun and cool items to purchase for others or better yet, yourself! I found the aisles to be a bit narrow especially to accommodate for social distancing, but otherwise this is ango to gift shop.

Wow! The folks here went so above and beyond for me, I cannot praise them enough. I had an impossible request 4 days before Christmas and not only did Barbara meet my request, she went through the store the SAME day that I ordered to make sure my items were in stock and then went through each one with me over the phone to offer alternatives and suggestions. I don’t even live in Smithers and with the service here I was able to get a basket of incredibly beautiful things to a dear friend. These fine people are running a top notch place when it comes to selection, value, and now I can testify, top-shelf care. I felt wonderfully looked after and will be shopping here again. Thanks for the extra-ordinary experience, Heartstrings!
As an incompetent gift giver I always feel confident walking into Heartstrings. With their eagerness to help, I always come out with the perfect and unexpected gift. If there is still some “what if” that remains in my choice they always leave room for me to make it even more right after the fact. They also generously recognize my patronage with guidance and service to help me along my way while still refusing payment for the added value. Yet when I insist they will finally concede and ask that I instead pay it forward.
I ordered Xmas gifts for my family in Smithers through their website. I had to make a change to my order due to an item being out of stock and found the people at Heartstrings super helpful. Great communication and customer service! I'll definately be a return customer. Best of all my gifts were ready to go the following day, so for once I got my presents there on time

Greatest store in town. Must visit even just for the atmosphere. Store very welcoming and always some new stuff.
Best gift shop I've ever set foot in! Prices are super reasonable, and they have something for everyone. Can't wait to go back!
