Would have given no stars if that was an option. We went looking for a queen size mattress with a budget of 1000 CAD. The sales guy Mr. Sidney told us they have some clearance offers. He showed us a nice bed and told us we would get the same. Once we were charged on the credit card I asked him about the return policy and he told us since it’s a floor model they don’t have a return policy. That’s when we realized that a clearance piece was actually a floor model. He assured us that even though it was a floor model it would be clean and neat exactly like the one he showed us. Even though I felt we made a bad deal and were fooled into buying a floor model we were ok with it thinking that it would be a good quality mattress we are getting for half the rate. On the day the delivery of the mattress was done the warehouse guys came quite late in the evening and were in a hurry to get me to sign the paper. It’s only after I signed I realized what big fools we were made. The mattress was in a very bad condition. We couldn’t believe we spent 1000 CAD plus box spring worth 250 CAD ( which is again high rate) just to get a bad quality dirty unhygienic mattress which no one would have bought. I immediately called the store and Mr. Sidney tells me they will give me cleaning products *wow* so you expect me to pay and clean the mattress. WhAt kind of pathetic service is this? Anyways we got the mattress exchanged and guess what we had to pay 50 CAD for the exchange. So they sell us a bad quality unhygienic floor model mattress and then charge us money to get it exchanged *slow claps*. WORD of CAUTION to people wanting to buy from this place. Please keep your ears and eyes open when dealing with them cause they are out to get your money! It’s unfortunate that we trusted the sales person and didn’t think twice before buying clearance piece which in other words is a floor model. Attaching some of the pics here.

I tend to not write reviews because I believe in the fact that people make mistakes, but I strongly believe that somebody should hear about my experience with this company. I recently purchased a twin XL bed from this store with an adjustable base, James the manager for the store was very knowledgable, kind, and helpful. His colleagues, I unfortunately can't say the same. After waiting weeks for my bed to be delivered the delivery guys "brought the wrong bracket" and were unable to attach the headboard. And then after a couple of more weeks of going back and forth with customer service, and several failed service attempts I was able to finally have my headboard attached to the bed (a month after the initial delivery). I thought my worries with this company would be done but in fact, it wasn't! When the delivery guys finally attached the headboard they told me that beds with an adjustable base tend to have a loose headboard. I am disappointed that the sales clerk did not mention this at all to me, even though I had spent a fortune and time choosing this one bed. I tried to escalate this situation to Paul from customer service, who told me that he couldn't help me at all because "most beds have this problem". After spending weeks of going back and forth with customer service, I gave up trying to contact them. (By the way, the typical wait for a customer service representative every time I called was about 30 mins). To make matters even worse, I bought a duvet from this store, and every week I have a pile of stuffing on my floor that is collected from this faulty duvet. We work hard for our money and so after my experience, I'd definitely would NOT recommend spending it on sleep country!

So knowledgeable and helpful. Usually i can not stand a sales person..but the one who was there yesterday was so cool and a good sense of humor...just HAD to buy me a mattress and box spring. Now i wait for delivery tomorrow..yay...hopefully delivery service is as awesome.

I am very disappointed with my first purchase in sleep country, the sales person is very knowledgeable and experienced and I really appreciate that. In the other hand the delivery was scheduled for 1 week after, it's been 3 weeks I did not receive my mattress or pillows I did not get an email nor a call explain why the delay and they won't answer the phone calls. I endup calling another branch where they try to contact them and no answer as well. I feel it's very disrespectful not to contact back to at least let me know what's going on. UPDATE: I never receive my order. I talk to the sales person on Sunday he said he will CALL ME ON MONDAY, he NEVER DID. I'm waiting to get a call from them and get my money back.
