I wish I could give less than 1 star! Huge ratios. Instructors have no idea how to teach children. They are getting frustrated and yelling at the kids. Save your money. It would be just as effective to take your kids to free skate and tell them \Go over there\. This is the level of instruction I witnessed. Then they cancelled a class and did not inform the parents. Found out when we all showed up. Disgusting!

Very bad experience. 1 teenager teacher per 30 children. Poor oversight of the children and very bad aptitude and service. Do not waste your money enrolling your children here

We took our children skating there and found it to be one of the best and well organized programs that we have seen. Our 4 year old learn to stand up and walk on the ice by the 3rd lesson. The group sizes are large but there are many coaches and assistants there to help all of the tots. Our older son who started but was already able to skate is also did well. The coach that he has is very good at skill correction and details so now he is gliding on the ice faster and has learned how to make a full stop. This was the second location that we tried and I would recommend this skating club to others because the coaches are professional, know what they are doing and our overall experience and impression has been a good one.

Folks, Don't waste your money here if you want your kids to learn skating. I came here from another club based on Google reviews. Now I think the former one was way better compared to this. This place MAY great for figure skating. But you will be wasting your money here if you are learning to skate. About 5-7 minutes spent getting in and out for a 30 min session. Too high instructor ratio and some of the kids will just be sitting on the ice waiting for attention. Instructors are kids as well and do the best they can, but being kids they giggle and socialize amongst themselves. Observe a few sessions and you will know what I mean .

My son started with Skate Toronto last Summer. He spent three classes just sitting on ice with no one really teaching him anything. The teacher would just come around demand him to stand and then would leave to teach all the other kids who knew how to stand. At one point she even refused to give him a toy because he wasn't standing (he kept trying but couldn't because no one was really teaching him how). I talked to the supervisor and he reassured me that he would talk to the teacher to make sure my son gets the attention he needed. The following session not only the teacher didn't change anything but also she left my son crying for ten minutes without even noticing that he was crying. When I asked the supervisor again he said your child is not the only one and we are busy. I took him off the ice and called and emailed the supervisor. He called me back offering one session private lesson (no apology). I decided not to even try with that offer since my son was already traumatized by the experience. Every mention of that skating class brought him to tears. We switched to Seneca Rec. Lower ratios and he was skating before his first class with them was done. If you have another choice stay away from Skate Toronto
