One of Central Ontario's premier winter destinations, we are where families come to ski. Owned and managed by the Bishop family, we are Ontario's second-oldest family-owned ski hill. Located in the rugged Haliburton Highlands, winter offers a mix of 14 open and intimate wooded runs ideal for all ages and abilities, 7 lifts including carpet lift, terrain park, Ontario's only permanent snow cross course, snowshoeing, historic chalet, short lift lines, and a great family atmosphere. During the green season, there's 23km of cross-country and downhill mountain bike trails and 6km of hiking trails to explore and enjoy.

The conditions were perfect, the food was great and the level of professionalism displayed by the Sir Sam's team was absolutely amazing! Management has done a great job organizing and ensuring COVID-19 protocols are being followed. My family and I truly enjoyed our experience and are looking forward to returning to and supporting Sir Sam's again in the near future!

Hands down our favorite ski hill..it may not be big like Blue Mountain but Sir Sam's maximizes ever mile of their property, a variety of ski runs and great interconnecting paths...because of its location you don't find the same horrific numbers of people...chill vibe, incredibly thoughtful and friendly staff, great skiing and food and location with gorgeous views of our beloved Eagle Lake...and you can ride here in the summer and fall which makes this one of my favourite year round places! Do NOT miss any opportunity to enjoy Sir Sam's Ski / Ride..it is a wonderful blessing!

Nice ski resort, we did a beginners ski class and by the end of the day we were going down the hill by ourselves.

Good size hills, they have good variety. Their terrain park is ok only a couple of pieces on it. Staff is super friendly and helpful.
