I've had two bad experiences with this company. The first, I called for a cab to take me to work. I was told it would be under 10 minutes for my cab to arrive. After half an hour of nobody showing up I called back, and I was told that they'd \send someone now.\ It took 45 minutes for my ride to get to me, I was dropped off at work late, and was still made to pay for my SEVEN MINUTE RIDE. TONIGHT my shift ended more than an hour ago, and I'm STILL WAITING FOR THE CAB TO SHOW UP. This is the most unprofessional cab company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I will not be giving them another dime of my hard owned money. No thank you, no sir!
They definitely need to change their name because we waited over half hour and then the driver took us on a different route that cost more money. The driver was nice but I don't like how business was conducted. Definitely not fond of this company and how they try to take advantage of visitors thinking that we don't know what's going on.
I used why wait for a number of years. Over the years the service was great from time to time you get the odd driver that would back up an on ramp and scrape the entire side of the taxi(True story) or drive you in a ditch which I showed video of the ditch incident to the owners and for some reason they kept that driver...i kept using their service everyday for medical purposes. Within the nearly 2 years I used their service I can name 5 occasions where my cab never showed up where I had to call the office only to find out they didn't have me scheduled in. And remember I need a cab every day for medical purposes. The two most recent occasions are one on thanksgiving Sunday my pharmacy was only opened till 12 pm I had a cab scheduled for 11 am pickup...i sat outside waiting finally calling to find out the inevitable my cab would never make it on time as I live 30 min from Simcoe . Today I had an appointment for frame selection scheduled at Nofolk Family Eye Care for 11 am so I scheduled my taxi for 10:25 pickup, when I called why wait at 10:35 they apologized and said they would send the cab right out. Meanwhile it wasn't possible to get another eyewear frame selection scheduled until a week from today because we are in a pandemic right now. This company dropped the ball on so many occasions and considering that they had over 4000 a month from only me and to get excuse after excuse and tell me they fired people only to see them still working. I want the people who need a taxi service for medical purposes to beware of the instances that may occur. Like I said they are very nice and try to make up for their shortcomings by deflecting their mistakes instead of owning up to them. I have switched to a different taxi service today and will no longer choose why wait
