They were very nice but they made mistakes that should not be made, especially during difficult times. They failed to put the times for the celebration of life in the newspaper as well as on line and many people told us after the fact that they didn’t know when it was and we had poor attendance at the event. Many people are continuing to ask when it is. They did put a new obituary in the paper the next day with the times and we were charged for the second day. They told the venue that we didn’t want a bar open when we did ask for the bar to be open. They promised the remains to be back by the time of the celebration of life but we didn’t get a phone call telling us they were back. Someone from baldocks did come to the venue to apologize and they are buying us an urn for the remains. Maybe the person who took care of us is new and she was very nice but, I hope they iron out these wrinkles because it just puts more stress on the loved ones to deal with mistakes. There are no do overs when it comes to saying goodbye to loved ones and it should be done correctly the first time

When my grandmother passed , we did not know who to call and found that prices in Simcoe and surrounding area were outrageous for just cremation, as much as 5000! We spoke to Barb Chambers and were very glad we called we saved over 3000 for the same services. Very compassionate and understanding and no sales pitches! Thanks Barb
