Overall - Nice hostel with clean room and bathroom. Strong WIFI and walking distance to nearest station. The room is very cool and the fact that they try their best to meet my request - twin bed (thank you Simcoe Residence !!!). Will definitely stay here again.

I love living at simcoe residence! The staff is so nice and eager to help with whatever comes up. Such a great location and awesome amenities.
I like the area. It’s clean and comfortable enough with all required amenities. People are kind. That’s what I expected. Staying here is always best option for me.
I spent a few months here during COVID. Had no complaints. The management has been very responsive. We had an issue in our unit and they came to fix it within 24 hours. The wifi is also very fast and neighbors friendly. Would recommend.
I have to share my experience living here for a year. -Internet . Slowest and and most unstable internet wifi you can ever think of and when we complain about it all they say is there is nothing we can do about it. -Laundry- most of the time there will be only one washing machine and dryer on working condition for the entire building even-though they have two. -Poor management- Your questions and complaints will not be addressed in a timely or efficient manner. I have uploaded a screen grab of how they are gonna respond when we complaint about broken microwave for weeks. -No refund of deposit- They will be asking for 150cad deposit for the key to the apartment and which they will not refund as they say in the agreement. They are gonna say that it got charged against maintenance charges after you move out. -Sublet - They will say you can sublet the apartment during lease agreement and which they will refuse later when you actually want to sublet. Myself ended up living there for only 8 months and still paid full amount in rent for 12 months. - Thinnest wall separation- Thin wall separation such that you can even hear the murmuring from the next door. There is no sound proofing done.
