Mark Acton Construction built us a detached garage in the spring/summer 2018. Our project was a bit complicated as we had to work with LPRCA, our local township and surveyors as the area the shop was to be built on was sloped and required grading changes, and Mark worked closely alongside those involved to advocate for us and our project. The project was completed in a timely and efficient manor. Mark and his employees were professional and courteous in our interactions. In addition they were respectful of our and our neighbour's surrounding property. Any questions or concerns we brought forward were dealt with quickly and always to our satisfaction. We are very pleased with the final result which is beautiful, functional and under budget! We would recommend Mark Acton Construction to anyone considering a project big or small. Thank you Mark! Mark and his crew finished our entire basement from scratch. They gave me the spa bathroom I always wanted and a beautiful wet bar! My husband can be a bit OCD so I was worried about the mess and final finishing but everything turned out perfect. It looks better than a lot of newly finished houses I've been in! When I need the upstairs kitchen and bath done I will be calling him again. Thanks Mark
Excellent work by Mark and his crew was done on our cottage in 2013. First phase, the renovation effort involved lifting the building off the ground, replacing the main beams and repairing the foundation. Second phase, a complete renovation of building occurred: interior walls/flooring/vaulting some ceilings and repairing others, ensuring the electrical & plumbing systems were brought up to code, new windows, new entrance door, new patio doors to the lake side deck and adding a new second bathroom. Final phase, a new deck was built with a pergola. Mark also assisted in the effort of acquiring Architectural drawings, Building permits and Conservation Authority permits and all required inspections. During the planning and execution stages of the project, Mark was extremely helpful with design and renovation improvement ideas that increased the quality of the work done and our satisfaction of the overall result.
Needed some assistance with a project I was facing and contacted Mark through Google. Mark came in and gave a more then fair estimate on completing the entire basement. We actually thought we'd be late in completion of the Project, but it was actually done 2 weeks before estimated time. Very glad that Mark came through with everything discussed prior. I recommend this company if your looking to spice up your everyday living. Good craftsman ship all around!
