Told me the vibration on my car was because my winter tires were too old. So I bought new tires from another store, even though mine would've easily lasted the rest of the season and next, paid Kal Tire to install them, but still had the vibration. Took the car to another place, who told me 1) the tires were not balanced properly by Kal Tire, and 2) the vibration was because my rims were not the right sized center bore, nothing to do with the tires. So now I have to pay a second time to have the new tires that I didn't even need put onto new rims. Between the tires and the 90 bucks they charged me to install them, that's almost 700 I didn't have to spend this year. Save yourself money and headaches, take your business elsewhere.

Really no thought given to customers banished to wait outside. Social distancing doesn't mean one has to sit out in the rain (as I did). When I suggested putting up a canopy, instead of being open to the idea, it was brushed off with \well we could have 8 people out here waiting and if we don't ensure social distancing we could be fined.\ Noted. However you could still make some attempt at it. I'll attach a photo of another business I visited just the other day that made the attempt. It wasn't ideal but it was greatly appreciated.
I have passed by Kal Tire many times on my travels to and from town. I needed a tire repaired that 2 years in a row I had repaired elsewhere. I was sure it was a rim leak but what do I know? Anyway I finally found how to drive to the shop and backed up to drop off the tire. I was greeted by a worker who had just opened the door to take a car out. I told him I was new here and didn't know if I could drop the tire off to be fixed he said sure thing. I'll put it inside I am just moving this vehicle out...I quickly got out of the way and parked in the lot as I was walking back towards the Customer entrance I spoke to him again and told him 2 times before it had been repaired elsewhere could I buy an inner tube for it. He said don't worry we will find the problem and fix it right! I went in and was greeted by Danie she was very nice I told her what had happened and that the tire was inside already. She tagged it and I stood outside by choice as I was outside the worker saw me and said it is finished and started rolling it to my car...I opened the trunk and he slid it inside and said found the leak it was a rim leak the person who claimed to repair it last time didn't clean off the build up.... it had been cleaned up this time....No Charge sir, Wow what service and in less than 20 mins. I am sold, you have my vote.....anyone asks me where to go for tires...Kal wins. Great friendly staff. Thank you for a wonderful experience Michael Raleigh
In Kal Tire today I overheard an elderly lady ahead of me say that she had a flat tire and was using her spare. A few minutes later she was called to the front desk and told that her tire had a nail in it and had been repaired and replaced back onto her car. When she asked how much for the repair she was told no charge. I thought it was worth mentioning. Way to go Kal Tire, that made my day and I’m sure the lady’s as well.
I had a nail in my tire and took my car at Kaltire, they fixed it and charged nothing! Excellent customer service and very inviting to clients, comfortable seats while you wait and see through window for sneakers to watch as they work on your vehicle. 5/5
