Good for kids
Other reviews say, they are not friendly. And i personally confirmed it...it's really true. They're unfriendly and rude. You can't eat there. No chairs but you can't bring your own chair either... so prepare to be standing for quite some time. You can only use their bamboo fishing pole (too big for small children). We brought a kiddie fishing pole for our kid but the guy said "approach me if your backpacks and the fishing pole are all in your car". Too much "DON'TS". The washroom is disgusting.

My family came out there today for my son's 10th birthday it was such a fun experience for all of us especially for the kids and there was plenty of fish! Reading the reviews made me kind of nervous to go but our experience was the total opposite of the negative reviews. Dan and his wife were so sweet and very accomadating. Thank you so much for such a great experience we will definitely come back again!!

Great fun for kids! Absolutely worry free as you don’t need to bring your own gear and don’t need a fishing license. Everything is provided there. It’s very much mom and pop operation. Simple and down to earth. I’d say the communication is a bit too direct by the times, and the fishing rods could use some upgrading, but at the end of the day it doesn’t matter as my kids couldn’t care less about those details. They just have so much fun!
Great family fun! I've never caught a fish in my life until I visited Silverbrook! The staff were friendly and helpful and gave us everything we needed! Within minutes the kids and I were hauling out beautiful rainbow trout! It was a great experience--and we had a yummy dinner that night! Totally recommend this place, especially if you've always wanted to fish or you we want to give the kids the fishing experience without the tedious boredom!
A nice couple of hours for the family to get outside. Cover charge of 10 per person. We caught only 3 fishes in two hours which looked about typical for the other people that were there, maybe there is a better time of day to go (we were there from 1pm to 3pm). But, well worth the drive and cover charge. The fishes were delicious.
