I have to say this place is THE-BEST place in Sidney BC CANADA ! JUST NEWLY RENOVATED! for a small town like Sidney has something new like this ? How lucky ! When I lived in Richmond BC , Richmond library is my favorite place to go, I just could not resist any library and bookstore! They always remained me of my time spent with my mom! When she was a librarian in HEBEI providence in China , that was one place I loved to go every day after school! I would be the most quite one just sitting on the floor and reading one book out of 50000 books ! Till today I still love reading a book ! I think maybe I should find a volunteer opportunity to work in the library one day ! I LOVE YOU ️ MOM!

This little local library is a fantastic place to take your kids to grab reading material. They also have programs which are offered regularly on various topics. A great place.

Size wise not comparable with downtown libraries but it's adequate for Sudney residents. Besides borrowing books you can also use their computer within time limits to google searches or enjoy youtube (headphones provided) and when on computer I think it's 3 hours max. per person as it monitors your usage time before it automatically logs you out. To print documents or photocopy you have to pay for that. Get reference, books, magazines, novels find a good spot to sit, make yourself comfortable and start reading. It's a great way to kill time. The counter staff on duty are really helpful. Outside parking spaces are always avaliable anytime of the day. People constantly move in and out.
