I called the pharmacy today to phone-in a prescription. I am a Nurse for over 7 years. The handwriting of the Doctor was not too clear so I had to pause at times and verify the dosage and medication name from our doctor... The lady from the pharmacy was so rude, she was talking to her coworkers saying out loud that \She's a nurse but she can't even read medications and dosage/ doctor's orders properly\. She was a horrible person. A bully to be specific. I was so professional and nice and told her that I couldn't read the doctor's handwriting since it was not clearly written. But she was terribly unprofessional and unethical. I told her that I heard her, that she was mean, and may Godbless her for her deeds. I hope she can read this and she'll realize that she doesn't need to be a terrible person. She must have a sad life. Poor customer service. I hope you become a better person and you don't bring down other people.

Found everything I needed here quickly and was also cashed out very quickly. Noticed the new self serve cashiers which will be the future. Good staff here and lots of close parking.

It was my first time and will certainly be the last time, because the girl gave me somebody else’s prescription cream. Don’t they normally confirm the package before handing it over to you? Not at this location. She handed me some random guy’s prescription cream... like ‘Wesley’. Shouldn’t they at least match the prescription with the gender? And when I asked her for the instructions, she said to me, “Then you’ll have to ‘wait’ for a Pharmacist to explain this to you over on the other counter.” I have always had prescriptions explained to me before picking up, but she made it sound like as if it was extra service for doing so. So I said that’s fine then, because I wasn’t sure how long it’d take as there seemed to be a bit of a wait. As I walked off, I noticed that the name of the package was someone else’s so I returned to a different counter and spoke to a lady instead and she quickly apologized and provided gave the correct prescription refunded money. Then provided me my prescription without charge as my insurance normally fully covers. Afterwards, she kindly asked me to wait at the next window for a Pharmacist to provide me with proper directions on drug usage. When the Pharmacist came over, believe his name was Paul, quickly apologized for the mix up and went through everything with me. Which was great. I also noticed that on the box of my prescription does not contain any custom labels on, such as your full name, type of drug, instructions, name of pharmacy, and etc... That’s not surprising since they’ve completely failed to properly confirm their patient’s info & details before providing their orders and making the transactions. I have read some of the bad reviews on here and it is true. This place is a perfect example of a horrible pharmacy. But anyway, I’d probably try Guardian, or even PharmaSave (both just down the block) which has some solid reviews.

I made the switch today to Rexall because the people that works in this Shopper’s pharmacy department is rude, straight up terrible customer service (rather it be up front in person or over the phone). It’s like they hired highschoolers to work there. It’s not a one time incident either. I’ve lost my patience. I never dealt with this kind of service in any other Shoppers Drug Mart back when I was in Richmond Hill or Markham. If this was a no-name business, it wouldn’t have survived very long. The only thing the owner will say under your comment is “thank you for helping us improve”, I bet you.
