I just had two root canals done with temporary crowns(permanent crowns to follow) at Smile Sense in Sherwood Park by Dr. Dan. What a great dentist. I was in the chair for just over two hours. Never felt any pain at all. The freezing is out now and the pain killer he gave me at 9 this morning has worn off. Still no pain. My son and Daughter-in-law recommended Dr. Dan. I am so glad. The ladies are so nice and patient. This will now be my dentist and I am looking forward to going to him for all my dental needs. I am highly recommending this business to anyone looking for a dentist. Thank you Dr. Dan and ladies. Heidi Callaghan

Very friendly staff, the rooms are bright and clean. The work done on my teeth was better then I could imagine. Highly recommend and I definetly will be going back for regular check ups and future work needed

I’ve never been a fan of going to the dentist. I had a dentist appointment at a different clinic and had fillings done, approximately a week after my feelings I started to have severe pain in that area which brought me to the dentist several times with no relief. I was told about smile sense from a friend and said Dr. Dan was the best and I wouldn’t be disappointed. I seen him and unfortunately my teeth needed to be pulled as I said above I am not a fan of the dentist but was happy to hear that sedation was some thing that was offered, I had my teeth pulled and the healing begin. Unfortunately my healing process was a little longer than normal and I continue to struggle, Dr. Dan was so patient with me and saw me anytime I needed to be seen and after a couple of checks we realized that I had another issue on a tooth near the extraction site. This tooth now needed a root canal and once again dr. Dan offered the sedation process and that is the route I went. I have never been to a more patient, respectful, nonjudgmental, kindest dentist before. I don’t even live in Sherwood Park but from this day forward I will continue to drive there to only go to this dentist. Thank you Dan for all the work you did with me , the patients you had with me and the patients you will have dealing with me in the future hehe

Dr. Dan, dental assistant Deana, hygienist Shannon, and client services Sam and Lisa, are great! It’s like a family reunion at our appointments. They are a very personable group and are very efficient. Dr. Dan is the best dentist I have ever experienced and therefore I have recommended him to my friends and colleagues. His calming demeanour and understanding of my “anxiety in the chair” has got me through my dental experiences. In the past I have had some pretty horrible experiences at the dentist, with that said it has been 11 years or more since I last saw a dentist. I was extremely nervous and pretty scared to be honest. The staff and Dr. Dan had me at ease and laughing within a few minutes of walking in the front door. They are extremely kind, caring and understanding. Times are pretty rough right now for so many people, my family has had a rough go to say the least. Dr. Dan worked with me so that I could afford to have the work done that I so badly need. I am actually looking forward to my next appointment and not so nervous now. They have put my mind at ease. I STRONGLY recommend seeing Dr. Dan, he has got me as a forever patient! I will be taking my kids to see him and referring my family and friends to him as well! Thank you for your help, understanding and giving me the confidence I had lost.
