This is a pleasant change from the previous ownership. I don't know if the place is cleaner or brighter, but the restaurant feels more inviting. The service I had was very pleasant. The owner who served me was clearly not a seasoned fast food professional. She was slow and meticulous, but there was plenty of tender, tasty chicken in my Shawarma sandwich, with no fat whatsoever.

Shawarma Express does not exist anymore. The place is called " Greek in the Village" . Shawarma Express needs to be removed from Google maps.
Started to go there daily and their gyros are pretty good. Tasty and worth buying for the size and taste, but avoid the female employee, she doesn't put care into making the food. Owner is pretty nice, too. Edit: Never knew there was more than one person working there, so another tip is to avoid the store if the old man isn't the one cooking. The woman prepared the chicken shawarma by sloppily throwing the ingredients on and just heated up the entire wrap instead of using actual recently cooked chicken.
Absolutely the worst Shawarma shop I've ever been to in Toronto. The two people that were there were without a doubt the most aggressive un-inviting people I've EVER seen run a restaurant. Honestly I was just baffled how terrible the experience was and I plan to never go ever again.
Clean restaurant . Good prices . Excellent gyros. I will return again if im in the area.
The place has a new owner and the was recently renovated. The new owner Mamun is very nice and made a really good chicken sharwarma rice plater for me! Chicken, rice and veggie all taste fresh and price is good. I really enjoyed!
I ordered 3 beef shawarma they came spicy and no meat and no pop a wast of money never again. And when I called to complain the guy that picked up didn't care and hung up
The delivery guy dropped the bag in my hands and ran before I checked the food or tip him. I got 2 chicken shawarmas and roasted potatoes. The chicken was ice cold, and the potatoes were tasteless ! I had to cut them,fry them and season them. Overall, not as tasty as other places. Paid 25 for these. Disappointed.
