I called Second Chance sports to ask about some ice skates for myself and I had no idea what to ask for since I had never skated before. The employee I spoke with was very helpful and gave me several options to choose from. When I got there the employee asked me to measure my foot to make sure I was getting the right size and he brought out several skates to choose between ranging in price and used/new. He made sure to give me pre-sharpened skates and told me how to get them on properly. This is a great option for people on a budget, or people like myself who don't want to spend a lot of money on something that they've never tried before. I highly recommend to anyone looking for sports equipment

I had a lovely experience with Rick, the owner. He is very friendly and strictly adheres to all Covid-19 protocols to ensure that staff and customers are safe. SC Sports sells all kinds of sporting goods and equipment at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended!
This place is the best. Forget the big box and support this local shop. Prices are usually better for same equipment. Also have quality used stuff.
The other day I had several skates sharpened at Second Chance Sports and they did a great job on the skates AND of trying to attend to the rush of people they were experiencing, during a beautiful COVID curbside pickup day. I look forward to when we can go back into the Store, as they have excellent prices and great stock!
