Captain Larry is a magnificent guide and expert mariner. We found some whales right away but they were not in a playful mood so we moved on. We cruised the bulk of the pennensula, admired the seabirds and caught some cod. All the while Larry told us about the fisheries and the local economy while letting us pilot the boat a bit. He made sure to get plenty of pictures of us and made our time together well worth the drive up there. What a great afternoon!

We had the best time with Larry on his boat! It’s like getting on a boat with an old friend! His 40 years experience & boat make you feel very safe. We saw the beauty of the Bonavista from the ocean side & saw puffins. The highlight of the trip by far was jiggin’ for cod! On top of it all, we were having so much fun he stayed out with our group for 3 hours when the tour was 2. If we come back we will definitely be calling to book again! Thanks again so much Larry! These guys made my girlfriend and I feel like we were going out on the boat with some friends, rather than a tour company. They're also really focused on making sure you get what you want out of the experience and are lovely people to deal with in person.
We had an incredible time viewing icebergs on our Seas the Day tour. Captain Larry was lovely and was very invested in ensuring we were happy with our experience. It was definitely unforgettable!
Captain Larry was the best. The whole experience exceeded my expectations from start to finish. He was more than accommodating and did everything in his power to make the iceberg boat tour the highlight of our trip. His thoughtfulness, kindness and caring nature was evident during the entire journey - he circled the bergs to make sure we had the best pictures to share, offered to take our pictures every time, and told hilarious stories in between bergs. I cannot imagine going to Bona Vista again and NOT seeing Cap'n Larry. If you're going to Bona Vista - definitely look Larry up, you will not be disappointed. Thanks again, Larry!!
