I had a positive experience with Tire Pawn/Green Used Tires. I sold a set of all season tires that were in good condition and received a reasonable amount of cash for them. The transaction was efficient. I also sent a message via their website during one evening and received a response the following day. I appreciated the timely response. Thank you!! (There was also a super cute and friendly dog on the premises which made me happy to see).
What are scam! If you ever want to be taken advantage of, and want to dish out your money to low life’s here’s the place to go. I sent my boyfriend there to get our new tires mounted, upon arrival the owner set up a deal (a confirmed deal) to sell our tires to him for 140 and it would cost 120 to mount them. Once the work was done the worker/owner flipped the deal and said oh we don’t want your tires anymore after already making a deal and already completing half of it. As soon as it came time to be payed for selling the tires they backed out and acted cowardly. What a joke don’t buy sell or get any work done here if you want to promised something that won’t happen.

Very poor experience, the website is very misleading. They claim that if you bring them any used tire (any size, condition, etc.) that isn't totally bald with the tread or doesn't have a nail or any other damage, they will give you money (cash on the spot). This is all a lie. They will only offer you money for tires that you bring them that are basically in new condition with maybe only a few thousand KM driven on them, if they have anything less than 85% tread, they won't offer you any money for them. Instead, they will ask you to recycle the tires for free. I personally brought about 15 tires to this place, about 10 of them I expected to get some money for, the other 5 were garbage, but the place only offered to buy 1 single tire off of me and they offered me 15. 15 for a 18 inch tire that was basically brand new that they are going to re-sell for at least 100. More than likely the tires that they claim they are recycling, they will try to sell to customers and make a 100% profit off of them because they gave you no money for them. Don't waste your time with this place, try to sell your tires on Kijiji or other second-hand sites rather than go here. They try to claim that almost every used tire, unless it is brand new, is not usable, when this is not true. Highly do not recommend bringing your used tires here to sell them off.
