One of my favourite places! I have never tried something off their menu I didn't like. Best patio in Scarborough (when patios are open) and also some of the best food in Scarborough. Lately been ordering takeout A LOT. The beef dip is to. die. for. Great prices are a bonus

I ordered salmon and white rice with orange juice. When it arrived, I notice the plate was visibly dirty so I used a napkin to check and it was. I told the waitress and her response was what do you want me to do? I was taken by surprise so I instead ask if you were me what would you do? She said she knows sometimes the chef touches the plate, I said this is not the case the plate is dirty (see photo of napkin i used to evidence the plate was dirty). She indicated she would change the plate. She brought the same food on another plate. Honestly, I ate the salmon on the top and it wasn't bad but the rice I didn't eat because it was stale (see photos below). Oh but they did give me a 25% discount and no charge for my OJ. Honestly, I don't believe it was handled well because there was never an apology at all. This was my first time there so maybe my experience was a one off but just thought I would share.

Great spot on Kingston Road. Great variety of beer taps with great service. Beautiful old stone building with lots of character. Nice outdoor patio with plenty of seating. Good selection of pub food. Wings and sweet potato fries are very good as well as the Cajun chicken sandwich

Food is always excellent. Great COVID safety precautions in place on the patio. In non-COVID times the indoor is fabulous. A great place to go for a family meal, or to go for drinks with friends.
