I took my vacuum in to this shop just before Christmas because it had stopped working. The shop was recommended to me by a friend, who had used their service and spoke very highly of it. The gentleman who created me took no time to identify the issue, which was broken piece of plastic on the arm of the vacuum. He didn't have the necessary part, but advised the vacuum would work correctly by simply removing it. I agreed and after removal the vacuum worked. The gentleman tested the vacuum for quite a few minutes to ensure it was working properly and had good suction. He also checked a filter that I didn't know existed, and recommended replacement as the filter was completely black. Then he only charged me for a couple of filters and some bags. He also assisted me to exit the store with the vacuum as I had had a challenge entering carrying it through a narrow door. Wished me a Merry Christmas and shook my hand upon my departure. I didn't think this kind of service and integrity existed in the world anymore. He could easily have kept the vacuum for "repair" and charged me, but he didn't, and for that I'm more than thankful.
I brought my backpack vacuum in for cable repair. The gentleman called me later with a quote, and asked if I would like to proceed with the repair. I said "yes", obviously I need it fixed, and he wasn't charging an arm and a leg. Will come back here again, but would prefer the vacuum lasts. So 40 for repair, versus a new vacuum for 350 - happy times.
Rip off! Gives a price and then charges way more. Also repairs not done right after paying him the price. Do not buy bags or other parts from him as they are WAY cheaper at all other place! Sweet to talk to but will rip you off! Stay away and go to other shops in the area!
Several of complaints of consumers being over charged when they can get a new unit for another 200 Charging consumers 250-400 for a repair on a TV is gouging the consumer. You are NOT looking in the best interest of the consumer. .. Honesty is the best policy.
This is not a fake review and it's kind of sad for somebody who isn't a customer to leave a comment . Anyways I brought my tv in for a repair. Unfortunately the cost of the repair was more than the tv itself. The tv cost 300 and repair was 180 . I definitely give them a high review because they gave us a free estimate and they weren't aggressive with making a sale .
Dropped off my Haier TV on Friday because the HDMI input wasn't working properly. After telling me they would look at in on Monday, I called to follow up, was told they would call me back, no call. I called again on Tuesday and got yelled at over the phone. Then I went to pick up my TV (after mentioning on the phone that I was coming to pick up the TV) and the TV wasn't there, so I had to make a 3rd trip back to pick up the TV that (according to them) there was nothing wrong with.
Fantastic service!!! Extras like new bag and cleaned machine at no charge. Both Patricks were great!!!
