I love Safe Team. Not only did I get the world's greatest cats but they are shown doing excellent work every day. Robbie and Luc are adorable sisters. Their personalities shine through. I have no problems with them toilet wise or listening to me wise. And I saved them from a certain, and unimaginable, death. Adopting is always better than making kittens on your own.

SAFE Team is an amazingly dedicated non-profit organization. They are doing great work in the Edmonton & area community rescuing and rehabilitating cats and kittens in need. They are volunteer run and receive no government funding, operating 100% on donations from supporters <3 its truly amazing, they have been operating for over 10 years and have rescued thousands of cats from euthanasia. I am so grateful they brought my kitty into my life, we are lucky to this rescue in our community! <3<3<3
Safe Team is always advocating for their animals in care! Providing a safe space for them and ensuring their applicants are the right fit. Their kitten policy is paving the way for raising feline welfare and their community envolvement is amazing. Like a feral cat, SAFE TEAM is always there even when you don't see them. Always there to help in anyway needed.
I adopted both of my boys from there and it was a great experience. I am a first time cat owner and they gave me boatloads of information and resources to help me get started and care for my kitties. They have great vet referrals and their staff are always willing to help with any questions you may have (not to mention Kirby is an absolute cat whisperer). I would recommend SAFE team to anyone looking to adopt a cat!
I've fostered, volunteered and adopted with SafeTeam and they are a reputable and caring rescue agency who has the kitties best interests at heart! It's run by knowledgable and kind people who work very hard to take care of the sweet kitties who are lucky enough to end up there and will help you through the adoption process if it's right for you. Can't say enough good things about this organization! <3 Monster and Creepy are my kitties I adopted through SafeTeam and I am so thankful they are part of my family!
My wife and I volunteer at SAFE Team, doing the clean up once a week, fostering lots of cats over the years, and doing a certain amount of car work (bringing cats to the shelter from local pounds, or taking them to vet or bringing them back). SAFE Team does amazing work, especially given its meagre resources, and has saved a huge number of cats over the past decade by finding them homes. It's a very deserving charity!
Full disclosure: I volunteer with SAFE at their shelter, am a foster family, and have adopted from SAFE Team. SAFE Team is full of extremely dedicated volunteers, working to rescue cats from unfortunate situations, getting them any medical help they need, helping the scared and the shy to come to trust humans, and finding them great homes. They have a careful screening process to match cats with the family best for them, and to match families with the cats best for them, and a no-questions-asked return policy if the adoption doesn't work out. SAFE Team is an excellent cat rescue, run by an incredibly dedicated, generous, and kind-hearted director, and staffed by an amazing team of volunteers.
Kirby and all the volunteers at SAFE are amazing and work tirelessly to help the cats that come into their care at this cat shelter. The devotion and caring of these people to the cat population of Edmonton is wonderful to see. I highly recommend and encourage anyone wanting to adopt a cat(s) or is looking for a place to volunteer their time or resources to go to SAFE.
