Its been almost 15 years since my dad took my grandfather and I up north to do a fly in trip. The journey up was a blast and then once we got to our lake the real fun began. We were up early to start our day courtesy of the lake loons. The fishing was amazing and if you have it in you to do the portage trip you will actually get sick of catching fish and that's not an exaggeration. We have been up multiple times and always had a blast. If you're looking for a quality family outing that will disconnect you from all the noise and hustle of your typical day to day life I'd highly suggest taking one of these trips. Memories that will last a lifetime.
