Mixed good and bad. The old Nagoya has changed hands with a funky redesign to plywood booths and some walls that some people write on with the pencils provided for the AYCE menus. We ordered from the main menu which was a much cheaper option. The AYCE price is 26.95 and 10 more if you want sashimi. We had bento box c and sashimi combo A and only spent 1 more than AYCE for one person. The bento box had lots of items and generally good flavours but the gyosa were cold inside and they brought a piping hot replacement within a few minutes. The sashimi was colourful and had a decent variety. Green tea was included in price but was not really hot. We wanted green tea ice cream but they only had vanilla despite listing at least five varieties on the menu. On a Saturday evening in the summer there was only 3 or 4 couples so I am not sure if they are doing very well.

My personal favourite all you can eat sushi restaurant in Saskatoon. The menu may be smaller but they have good ratios of the ingredients (other places will add more rice and skimp on other key ingredients). Friendly and quick service. Overall great experiences here.
Food was fresh and delicious. Temperature of food perfect, cold food cold, hot items hot. Room was a little cool but it's Saskatchewan in the winter. Overall great experience except I ate too much!
my new favourite place to eat in Saskatoon. Being a vegetarian, the waitress was very helpful in pointing out all the dishes that had no meat AND were delicious- so GREAT service! I will definitely be returning. My stomach left happy and satisfied
Very beautiful restaurant inside and out. Unique in everyway, feels very Asian styled (the only downside to this would be all the rude customers who've drawn on the walls of the cubicles you sit in). There are options for buffet and individual orders (we chose buffet). The food took a bit of time to come out, but nothing crazy and we were patient. The hand rolls were excellent in my opinion. We also enjoyed the sashimi. They have some pretty interesting sushi rolls here in addition to some of the more classic ones. The staff was polite, although I wouldn't say friendly. The staff doesn't come to your table often, just to serve you food and take your orders. So, if you enjoy staff constantly checking up on you you won't get that here (I didn't mind, but I'd we had complaints we would have to wait to voice them). The price could be a bit cheaper for what you get out of it, but I also can't complain because you get a nice evening out from the experience. The setting and mood of the restaurant is quiet and peaceful, making it great place to go to sit and talk with someone. I would definitely eat here again.
If I could give this place a big fat zero I would. My friends and I went to have lunch at Sushi Date on 8th street and it looked really promising! The booths were kind of cool and very simple. It was quiet inside. We were seated right away. Our food was served quickly and it was pretty good. Then I saw a mouse run down the isle and into a booth and then squeeze between the booth and the wall. When we tried to get a picture of it we were unable to see it anymore but did find mouse poop where the little bugger went in. We confronted the staff who rudely proceeded to tell us that there is no way there is a mouse in there because they checked. After looking for it for like 30 seconds he said "we are tired of looking for it. What do you want?" They called their manager who also told us we were liars. They offered to move us to a different booth - like that was going to solve the problem. Dirty restaurant and rude staff. I will certainly not be going back!
Very very good food. All you can eat Sushi. I recommend the evening menu with a larger selection.
Been there twice no issues ordering staff is very nice easy to communicate with. I think the food was tasty and was more than I could eat. As for Sushi I am no expert I don t know the difference as I ve only had Sushi a few times. I had a positive experience both times I was there dining.
