I had matt in Edmonton come out to do a energy audit on my home so I can do the rebate upgrades through the efficiency Alberta Program. He was polite seemed professional enough. What I didn’t expect was the miss information given at both the pre and post upgrade audits. When he said that upgrading the. 3 items qualifies for the 1000 rebate I upgraded the main 3 items (furnace, tankless hwh and hrv) which he said both before and after qualify. Later to find out that the hrv does not qualify. If he would of told me this previous to my upgrades I would of not chosen to waste my money and do some other upgrade on the list. So now I wasted money and I’m out of the bonus1000. All thanks to the misinformation that I was given from their adviser.
