A couple years back I was asked to participate in the charity event swinging with the stars and to say I was nervous would be a vast understatement. I have never danced before and literally knew nothing about the craft. I was partnered with Kim and from our very first meeting to our performance she was able to make me feel comfortable in my own skin and her teaching ability ensured that I was able to provide a quality performance. She is a true professional and I’m forever grateful for my experience.

I have enjoyed Saskatoon Salsa from day one. I enjoyed the beginner classes as much as I do the performance groups I have joined. I have made friends that are now like family. Saskatoon Salsa is a great community to get into. I have even got to enjoy going on one of Kim’s dance trips to Cuba and can’t wait to go again this winter. Highly recommend this school!
I have danced at Saskatoon Salsa for a number of years. The school is organized and well-run. The instructors are talented, enthusiastic and welcoming. Saskatoon Salsa students come from all age groups as well as many diverse backgrounds and occupations, and I am happy to have made many good friends through my classes at the studio. While the instructors and staff are always ready and willing to help all of the school’s students, we would all do well to remember that what we gain from our dance experiences is also affected by and dependent on what effort we ourselves put in and what we offer back to the school!
A fantastic studio that creates a very welcoming, supportive, and inclusive atmosphere and community of wonderful people. Having joined a year ago, I’ve progressed through various class levels and am now part of a performance group. In that time, I’ve not only enhanced my dancing skills through instruction from very knowledgeable, friendly, and fun instructors but also gained a new network of friends and sense of community/belonging. Would highly recommend for all levels!!
I love this dance school! My son, husband and I are currently enrolled in dance lessons. It has been many years since we first started taking lessons with saskatoon salsa. The instructors are amazing. Kim is an exceptional person and is warm and welcoming to all who enter the studio. My son loves his instructors. This school is great for beginners and experienced dancers. Registering is easy either online or in person. Looking forward to the dance trip to Cuba with this dance school.
A welcoming and positive studio for anyone with a passion to learn and grow. I’ve taken a wide variety of classes and have yet to experience anything less than wonderful. Saskatoon Salsa has enhanced the community of dance in Saskatchewan in so many ways, it’s an honour to be a part of it! Highly recommend.
Saskatoon Salsa offers not only top notch dance classes for all levels of dancers, but also a sense of family and community that makes it one of a kind. Kimberly not only runs the school, she teaches classes, hosts events, plans dance trips, attends other people's events, and all around contributes immensely to the salsa community. She is a gem of a human being who cares deeply for her students and her craft. Every member of my family has been a part of this school and I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to learn salsa, hone their skills, make lifelong friends, and have a blast at the same time.
