Our daughter had always struggled in math..she absolutely dreaded her math classes in school. Last years final mark in school was a 51 so we knew it was time to get her some help. Our daughter has joined Mathnasium since the end of May 2019 and attends 4X a week. She is now currently in Grade 10 and her 1st report card this fall was a 77!!! Our daughter has now stated that she no longer dreads her math classes in school and she enjoys attending Mathnasium. She has informed us that the employees at Mathnasium are all so great and they’ve all helped her feel far more confident when it comes to math. She is also gaining the confidence to ask for extra help when it’s needed which is a huge accomplishment for her. We are so grateful that this place is available and our daughter will continue to attend Mathnasium throughout her high school years.

My son has been going for just over a month and already his attitude with math has completely changed! Doing math homework had become a major ordeal involving lots of tantrums and tears. He was just so frustrated and nothing I did seemed to help. He continued to test two to three years below grade level no matter how much time we tried to spend on it at home. We had bought math games, worksheets, books to teach us how to teach him - we were at a loss and needed outside help. We researched the main tutoring centers - Kumon, Sylvan and Oxford - alongside Mathnasium. While they are all about the same price (approx 300/mth), most didn't personalize it and just did generic grade level worksheets AND charged for the initial assessment (which Mathnasium does not). Because we have a high needs son (high functioning ASD) we needed to ensure the facility we chose also could accommodate him. Nathan Windels of Mathnasium was the only manager of the centers who sat to learn how my son's disorder may present itself and discuss how they would be able to adapt to his sensory and processing differences. He had one episode of elopement since starting and the staff handled it very well! Since joining we have had one victory after another. Not only is he understanding the material and seeing math positively, his confidence overall has greatly improved. He is eager to challenge each new skill set. He came home last week and asked, "Mom did you know there's math in more than just math class? It's in gym too! I used math to find out how many more points we needed to beat the other team. It's EVERYWHERE!" He actually CHEERED last night when I said we could go to Mathnasium!! Nathan and his team are amazing and I highly recommend this program!! You will not be disappointed!

My daughter loves mathnasium. It’s the only thing she asked to do during the summer and also asks to do it during the school year.
