Hired them to regrade my backyard to solve a water problem, bring in top soil, install underground sprinklers, and sod everything. I got several quotes for the work but they were the only ones that actually showed up and talked to me about what I wanted done. They made very helpful suggestions to solve my water problem and get my yard the way I wanted it. The other guys stopped by, peaked over the fence and sent me a quote. They started the work on time and finished within the time frame we discussed. They also went above and beyond building a little stone area where the underground sprinklers go underground and using paving stones as transitions between gravel and grass areas. These extra touches really add that cared for look to my backyard. Even with these extras they came in at the agreed upon price. I would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to a friend. You will not be disappointed.

I highly recommend working with Ahlstedt's Landscape Contracting. Super reliable and great to work with. They did a very large landscaping job for us, and they were just excellent.
High-quality product; professional conduct by all employees; well-managed site, including excellent end-of-day clean-up; responsive owner/operator willing to do walkthroughs regularly as work progresses; responsive to changing needs; no task to small for personal attention. Several times, things didn't work out quite as intended because of unexpected discoveries (drainage issues, changes in needs due to other construction), but this team took it in stride and managed it well.
Ahlstedt’s did our yard and they did an exceptional job. Jonathan was great with accommodating all of our last minute changes and making it happen. Quality of service is very important to us and that is what you get with this company. All the staff were professional, friendly, reliable and got the job done on time. We had our landscaping done by them 3 years ago and we loved it, the sprinklers timer thing had broken this summer for no reason. He called me back said "The timer only has one year manufacture warranty on it, but I will only charge you for my time here!' Just like that for a job he has done 3 years ago, we got a free new timer for our back yard sprinklers! For a job he has done 3 years ago, He came back for it!
Poor customer service, turns away potential customers because the job is “too easy” for his company. He even went on to say “in these tough times” meaning that you should appreciate ANY potential customer you could get. Furthermore, he made me wait a good week or so from the initial time speaking to tell me that they won’t do it because it’s too easy. So unless you have a 25,000 landscaping job, they won’t do it for you. Awful service.
