Indigenous students without a band are fair game. I took a nine month course here and attended with about 6 other indigenous students, all of their bands paid for the schooling, I don't have a band, and paid out of pocket, I was treated terribly by both teachers I had, yelled and screamed at everyday, other classmates were treated like actual human beings. huge waste of money, tickets and certifications are also completely useless outside of Saskatchewan. If you have dark hair and dark skin, and are paying for this out of your own pocket *D O* *N O T* *A T T E N D* *H E R E*

I experienced racism in polytech and it was with the old lady with short hair and glasses. She runs the canteen. At first I didn’t think nothing of it but even my classmates seen how rude she was being to only me. She cut me off when I was ordering & always had an attitude toward me. Sometimes I would try smile & ask her how her day was & she wouldn’t say much. I always left her nice tips just to see if maybe she would treat me different but she was always the same. My first time living in a city on my own at age 17 and she made it a horrible experience.

I disagree with the rules here, it feels like high school and I've had lots of terrible experiences with some of the instructors already! I just feel like this school is not worth it. I was better off at the University. At least I got my moneys worth, classrooms were almost always available, gym has great hours, WAY better fitness coordinators (and they were students). This school is impossible, I feel like I am a high school student again. I HATED high school.
