I went into SoftMoc after seeing a flyer that had a pair of boots on sale I liked and felt the price (119.00) was reasonable for what I was looking for. A sales associate came over to me after I was standing there for about 5 mins to see if he could help me. He brought over the boots in my size when I tried them on I was having difficulty zipping up of one of the boots. So I took it off and found that the inside liner material was not stiched correctly. The material was frayed and was impeding on the zipper. Once I saw that I showed the associate. I asked the associate what they were going to do with the boot since it was not stiched correctly.(expecting him to say send it back to the supplier) He said they will just trim that off where it was getting stuck in the zipper and sell them to someone else They did not have another pair in my size which was fine by me. Since that what they do with issues on products they sell I will not buy anything from there. That was the first and last time I will go into that store to look at purchasing anything. I was very disappointed with the complete experience.

When I walked through the grand door way into a brightly lit haven of customer service and quality prices I knew I could find anything I wanted there, Infact I was at Tootsies and they recommended I'd go to soft mac for a better selection and they weren't wrong even a little I'm going to be wearing my non slip black shoes for Millenia because of the confidence the employees had.
Sales help stood behind the counter and had to be sought out. Neither seemed to have a good idea of where the shoes we requested were actually located, despite assistance from the computer. The one helpful thing was being given the option to order the shoes we requested and have them delivered to the house without shipping costs.
I bought a pair of birkenstocks and tried them on in the noisey store (music etc). About a week later I noticed that in the silence of or home, they made a clicking sound with each step. Quite annoying and not right for the money I paid. I tried to bring them back for replacement. Although I didn't have the original receipt or box, I did have a print-out of my Visa bill which had the amount and date purchased on it. They told me that I was out of luck because they could not hear the defect in store with their music going and also they could not replace them without the original bill and box! I asked them to search their computer for the sale because I had the correct date and amount but they refused to help me. Customer service is terrible! What happened to the \customer is always right\ ? Never darken their doorway again nor will I recommend them!
Everytime I go there I end up leaving because you can never find anyone to help you.
