I called to see if I could get a quote for services as I am shopping around. I plan on opening my business this year and knew since the Covid 19 crisis I couldn't meet in person. I spoke with the accountant and I asked for some ball park prices. I was told I would have to set up a meeting over the phone to get more details. I then asked how much would that cost. I then was told that I sound like a student and that he doesn't \entertain\ quotes for them. I went to explain to him that I am not a student, but he cut me off and said that he wan't interested in my business. I gave up and said thank you bye. I was willing to pay to have a conversation on price! As a fellow business professional, this type of treatment is not acceptable. How can you serve people by judging them by they way they sound on the phone, or not giving them 1 minute to explain who they are? You should stick with accounting and leave sales to someone else because that conversation was insulting! Just a tip from a fellow Business Professional!
