Good service, great food and crazy portions when you get the Set Meals. We went for dinner and ordered a set meal for 2 but it will take 4 people to eat it. Everything was well done from sushi to sashimi to beef teriyaki and rolls. There are many good Japanese restaurants around and I must say Sapporo will be our go to moving forward.

Chicken Karagge dinner box, chicken was either over fried or re-heat fried. One can taste and smell the difference easily. (The picture is dark due to lighting issue, but actual chicken is still dark and a bit dry in real life, and in different lighting.) Compare with the price, that makes it either not good enough or over-priced. Hence 3 stars. The rest of the items are ok, including other dishes. May consider giving it a 2nd chance, but not anytime soon.

Fantastic restaurant. To all the Karens out there who don't like waiting outside just remember that previous generations went to war for the safety of their country: we're asked to wait outside for our sushi... Keep it in perspective. Great restaurant with extremely fast and conscientious service.
I saw some reviews and decided to give it a try... Turn out it's a good place for Japanese food (I'm guessing done by Korean). We stayed on the cooked food side as we have our kids with us this time. Will try their sashimi when we got another chance visiting White Rock!
