Wonderful staff, friendly and answering any questions. There is a small self guided tour to view the goats, and see the cheese making process from start to finish. There is a nice little shop with their chesses, including a couple only available at the store front. Unfortunately the cafe stopped food service the weekend before I came, so was unable to try it. But that is such a minor complaint. Can't expect an outdoor seating restraunt to be open year round. Highly reccomend if you enjoy quality cheeses. Can't get any fresher that buying right from the factory! Plus we were greeted by a friendly gaggle of pigs on the way up the road, bonus!

This place definitely worth visiting. We took a walk at the place, see their goats and know more abt their cheese making procedure. Visitors could look through the window clearly that how the staffs are making the cheese. I am very happy this place still have free sampling for jam/sauce/cheese piece (don’t worry, they passing the sample in a very clean way during COVID-19). We finally purchased hot chili sauce, hot mango jam, and hot sauce collection. Very satisfied with the visiting today.

Had we not known the goat cheese from Vancouver, we’d completely miss it. It’s a fun place to visit and to learn about the cheese making process. There is a interpretive walkway with windows around the factory to peek in. Turn the other way and see some goats play. The goat cheese they make is very tasty, whichever you try. We also treated ourselves with some goat milk gelato, which did not taste like goat milk at all. We’ll be back for more cheese!

An essential visit to make on Salt Spring Island. [We went three times on our trip! I am lactose intolerant but love cheese, so spending time here was a real treat]. The cheeses are fabulous, and you can look into the cheese making operation with a small but informative self-guided tour around the building. Everything on the cafe menu is delicious, but even when that is closed they offer many snack items. We made a picnic of cheese, crackers, and gelato our first visit, and after that we had pizza and salad. We will be back, and we are more likely to buy their products in Vancouver after our trip to Salt Spring in late August 2020. I can be busy, as others have pointed out, but hopefully you are not in a rush when spending time in the Gulf Islands. It is worth the wait!

Followed Covid protocol very well. Was a long wait due to only being allowed one group at a time. But it was well worth the wait. A nice selection of cheese as well as jams and hot sauces to taste and purchase. Also the walk around the building to see the goats was fun too.
