I purchased an organic turkey from this farm and was shocked at the condition of the bird. Parts of the turkey wing were missing. They had cut the ends of the legs and trimmed away so much of the skin around the breast, which is normally used to enclose the legs, that I had to wrap the entire turkey in twine to keep it together. The skin felt a little sticky and it looked grey. There was no red blood, or any juice at all really, in the enclosed packaging which is another concern. I purchased the turkey on October 9th to eat on the 12th. The expiry date is October 17. I cannot imagine it being okay to eat it by that time. I cooked the turkey to 172 degrees Fahrenheit to be sure to destroy any bacteria. After I took that initial bite, my concerns vanished. The meat was absolutely delicious and tender. That being said, I think it would be better to present the bird in the traditional way with the appropriate amount of skin to enclose it with the dressing inside; otherwise, I think it has to be marketed as a utility turkey and labelled accordingly.

Le CHARLO Tranché tellement mince que l'on goûte plus la croûte qui entoure le saucisson, on mâche seulement cela . 2ème fois ce produit et la dernière. Je ne mets pas en doute la qualité de la viande tranchée trop mince.
