The food was absolutely wonderful and so was the service. I would recommend everyone to order beforehand so that they can get the food as soon as they get here. It's a very busy place, so getting the food could take time.

Service is exceptional. The male server was very attentive and friendly. The food was okay. I really liked the poutine. Would have liked a better and bigger piece of chicken on the burger. My boyfriend got the wrap and absolutely loved it.
Dropped in a sunny Monday after driving the Irish Loop. The Celtic Knot was an amazing rest stop after 5 hours on the road and couldn't have been more refreshing for our drive home. My girlfriend and I both enjoyed the chowder and she had a chicken burger, I the Nanci Wrap. We both loved our meals as well as the fries and gravy we had on the side. Prices were very reasonable and the free wifi in a cellular dead zone was a great help.
Food was very tasty. I travel Newfoundland a lot and I would rate this in the top 5 local restaurants for taste and freshness. Service was friendly but slow and not very attentive--after given our meals they never checked in with us and I was very thirsty for another drink while one of the servers was busy entertaining some guests with long conversation. Price was incredible for the quantity and quality we got. My company and I were very satisfied and agreed that we will be skipping Edge of the Avalon Restaurant when we drive the Irish Loop from now on to eat at Celtic Knot.
Just moved to St. John's and was checking out places to go when we came upon this gem. Home brewed beer, friendly service thanks to Rod, great food combined with a decor that made for a great outing experience. Will be be back.
Great food! Generous portion. Service was fantastic. I would definitely recommend.
Search for food while driving through the area brought me here. Met few friendly locals over "Newfoundland Fish" which was very well priced for the quantity they served. Heard about new owners and can see their efforts. The lady who mangers the place is a great woman and makes efforts to serve her guests well. Overall a must do if driving though the area.
The burger I ordered was terrible. It was drenched in BBQ sauce and the burger patty tasted like a very cheap patty you'd get at a grocery store. The fries were also over-fried.
